Affiliate disclosure

Some retailer links on Electrolyte Nerd are, or may become, affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission from that retailer or affiliate network at no additional cost to you.

Commissions are reported to us by the retailer or network. We never receive your payment details or order contents.

Commercial relationships have no effect on any of the following:

• whether and how a product is verified;
• nutrition, ingredient, caffeine or composition data;
• search results and their order;
• comparison results;
• product rankings and category highlights;
• educational and editorial content.

No brand or retailer can pay to be included, ranked higher, presented more favourably, have its data changed, or have a competitor removed from a comparison. Results are ordered using the declared values in our database only.

Affiliate relationships may include any of the following:

• Amazon Associates;
• direct brand affiliate programmes;
• affiliate networks (for example Awin, Impact, CJ, ShareASale);
• retailer referral programmes.

We only describe a programme as live once it has actually been approved. Commission rates, cookie durations and network details are internal business information and are not shown to visitors — a higher commission never means a better product, and we do not present it as one.

Where a retailer link is an affiliate link, we show a plain-English disclosure directly next to that link — not only here or in the footer. The wording is:

We also mark the link in the page markup using the standard sponsored attribute. Where we have no affiliate relationship with a retailer, we link to the ordinary retailer or brand page and say so.

We only apply affiliate markup when a partnership is genuinely live — a link is never presented as an affiliate link before the relevant programme has approved us.

We do not currently sell placements, sponsored positions or advertising within search or comparison results.

If that ever changes, any paid placement will be clearly labelled as “Sponsored”, “Advertisement” or “Paid placement”, and it will be visually separated from organic results. Paid content will never be mixed into organic comparison results without a clear label.

We do not scrape Amazon, and we do not copy Amazon prices, images, ratings, reviews or other programme content into our own database. Product data in our database comes from manufacturer-published sources only.

Every nutrition, ingredient, caffeine and composition field is transcribed by us from a manufacturer-published primary source and recorded with a Last Verified date. Where a source does not publish a value we show “Not declared” rather than assuming zero.

Pricing is stored as a separate, time-sensitive layer. It never affects verified nutrition data, and we never estimate a price to fill a gap. See our methodology for the sourcing rules.

Prices, pack sizes, servings per pack and stock status change frequently and can differ by region. Any price or cost per serving shown here is the figure we recorded when we last checked, not a live quote.

Always confirm the current price, pack size and label on the retailer's own page before buying. Purchases, shipping, returns and customer service are handled entirely by the retailer.

When you click a retailer link we log the product, the retailer, whether the link was an affiliate link, the page it came from and the search query or intent behind it — with no personal identifiers.
